Early Morning Stroll

Bear TracksOur elderly cat needed attention at 5:00 am this morning.  As I got out of bed, I happened to look out the window in time to see a large black bear lumbering down the middle of the road. He used the bridge to get across the river than disappeared around a corner.  The 6 to 8″ of new snow we received made it easy to track the bear.  He had visited the neighbors, including a stroll through our front yard.  No picture of the bear but these are his tracks.
