Life in the Northwoods

Fall is a great time to trek the northwoods.  That’s what we did this past week.

Riding the back roads on Sunday, we circled Soo Lake and saw deer, turkeys, a bobcat and last but not least, a skunk.

Monday found us hiking the Hogsback Esker overlooking Spur Lake and Sailor Creek.  Highlighted by a trail side five star meal.

On Tuesday we switched to our Trek dual sports and headed out to the Holy Cross trail.  Had a great ride on what will soon be ski and snowshoe trails.  Another five star meal on the trail, including a fine wine.
