Pine Line Trail

Enjoyed a late fall bike ride on the Pine Line Trail.  The 26 mile trail follows an old railroad bed in Price and Taylor counties in north central Wisconsin between the towns of Prentice and Medford.  We did about half of the trail starting at the north end just south of Prentice on Morner Road east of state Highway 13.  The trail passed through the towns of Ogema and Westboro and under Highway 13 before we turned around at mile marker 13.  Although the trail could use some tender loving care, it was a nice ride using  a bike with wider tires.  In our case, we rode Trek Dual Sports.  Even in late fall it was very scenic.
