Redfeather Explore

The Explore is from Redfeater's recreational series.  With its round tail and fully rotating toe cord this snowshoe is a great performer in deep snow.

Bindings are the Redfeater CONTROL.   These are a rugged, secure binding which feature a solid polymer heel plate, semi-rigid injection-molded polyurethane toe and heel frames for superior lateral support, quick-adjust nylon webbing to secure foot in frames, and a flexible urethane heel strap which stretches to hold heel of boot securely.  The bindings are attached to the frame with a Pivot Rod hinge that allows tail of shoe to stay down during stride, keeping the tips up for greater stability. Ideal for use in deeper snow.

Traction is maintained with the Hawk™ high quality stainless steel crampons for superior strengh. Aggressive toe and heel design insures maximum purchase with each step on all terrains. Powder coated to shed ice and snow.

TX 35 Rip Stop decking is a superior puncture and abrasion resistant material that stays soft in sub zero temperatures.

Sizing:  The Explore comes in three different lengths.  Chose the length based on your total weight (your weight + weight of any gear carried).

• 25":  Up to 175 lbs (8" wide, 3.8 lb snowshoe weight)
• 30":  Up to 220 lbs (8.5" wide, 4.2 lb snowshoe weight)
• 36":  220 lbs and up (9" wide, 5.1 lb snowshoe weight)
