Redfeather Guide

The Guide is from Redfeather's backcountry series, built for serious loads in deep snow.

These snowshoes feature Redfeather's Epic bindings:  A molded three ratchet strap binding that is very secure and quick to use.

The bindings are attached to the frame via a Pivot Rod hinge that does not lift the hell of the shoe on each step, allowing the tail to drag in the snow for added flotation, and keeps the tips up on deeper snow.

Frame:   Oversized 7/8" extruded 6000 Series aluminum. Western Round tail design for maximum floatation.

Decking: TX 45 Rip Stop - Redfeather's strongest, most durable and abrasion resistant material that stays soft in sub zero temperatures.

Crampons:  Condor System.  These are Redfeather's largest, most aggressive stainless-steel system with serious rear crampons for stability when descending hills. Powder-coated to shed snow and ice.

Sizing:  The Guide comes in three different lengths.  Chose the length based on your total weight (your weight + weight of any gear carried).

• 25":  Up to 175 lbs (8" wide, 3.8 lb snowshoe weight)
• 30":  Up to 220 lbs (9" wide, 4.2 lb snowshoe weight)
• 36":  220 lbs and up (10" wide, 5.1 lb snowshoe weight)
