The Crazy Loon & sPorT Plus Physical Therapy to host Snowshoe Clinic at the Wisconsin Concrete Park
Snowshoeing is a growing sport in Wisconsin. A great workout that doesn’t require technical skill, it’s an easy way to explore spaces and places touched by Old Man Winter’s snowy wand. Unless specifically marked and groomed for another use, Price County trails are open and ready for snowshoeing. Come to the Wisconsin Concrete Park, located at N8236 South Hwy 13, Phillips, WI, on January 8, 2011 from 1 to 4 PM for a snowshoe clinic hosted by Ron & Chris Kendziera of The Crazy Loon along with Dr. Mel Eggebrecht of sPorT. The clinic will be held in the Friends of Fred Smith’s heated studio. Receive answers to your questions regarding the sport, trails to try, and how to avoid injury with exercise and nutrition. Nancy Anderson of the Phillips High School will provide tips on proper dress for active outdoor winter activities. You will have the opportunity to try out the aluminum frame snowshoes, provided by The Crazy Loon, on the ½ mile nature trail at the park.
