Last year Trek’s Farley Fat bike sold out before we could even think of getting one, but this year they have a couple of new models (the Farley 6 and Farley 8) and we were able to get our hands on a few or the Farley 6 bikes before they sold out again!
I’ve been riding one around this fall and have been having a blast! I’ve been exploring the Phillips area as well as riding the CAMBA trails near Hayward. I never thought I’d say it, but it seems just as fast as a normal mountain bike on the trails. Its light (for a fat bike) weighing in at just under 30 pounds. The more technical the trail, the more fun and fast this bike is. With 3.8″ tires inflated to 10 psi there isn’t much you can’t roll over. As fun as it has been on the trails this fall I can’t wait to try it out in the snow!
Stop by soon if you’re interested as we have a 17.5″ and 19.5″ Farley 6 in stock and Trek won’t have any more available until February…
