Wilson Flowage

Sunday, 5/15/11, was sunny and cool with strong winds.  A great day for a paddle on a small lake in the Chequamegon National Forest.  It was a 1/2 mile walk in with our kayaks to the Wilson Flowage but well worth it.  It was like we had the entire forest to ourselves.  We paddled on the upper flowage but got out on the earth dam to get a view on the lower flowage.  We will paddle this one again.  Maybe next time we will try camping for a night or two.
